Cracks and trip hazards, repaired right.
Cracked driveways, spalling patios and uneven walkways repaired honestly - and a straight answer about which cracks are cosmetic and which are telling you something.
Concrete on Houston clay moves - that is a fact of geology, not workmanship. The skill is reading which cracks are normal shrinkage, which are seasonal movement, and which need attention at the soil before any patch will hold.
What is included
- Crack cleaning and flexible sealing that moves with the slab
- Spalling and surface damage resurfaced cleanly
- Trip hazards at walkway joints ground or leveled
- Broken sections cut out and repoured with proper joints
- Drainage assessment - water under slabs is the usual real culprit
- Honest guidance on repair vs replacement, section by section
How it works
- Read the cracks. Pattern, width and location tell us the cause. We start there.
- Address water. If drainage is undermining the slab, we fix that or the repair is temporary.
- Repair properly. Flexible sealants, resurfacing or repour - matched to the actual problem.
- Walkthrough. Joints, slopes and finish checked with you.
What drives the price
- Repair type: sealing is modest, repours are real concrete work
- Area and thickness of affected sections
- Access for equipment and haul-away of broken material
- Drainage corrections, when water is the underlying cause
Common questions
Should I worry about cracks in my driveway?
Hairline cracks in a pattern are usually normal shrinkage and seasonal movement on our clay. Cracks that widen, offset vertically, or run toward the house deserve attention. We will tell you honestly which you have - most of the time the answer is reassuring.
Why is one section of my walkway sinking?
Water. Poor drainage washes out or softens the soil under a section and it settles. Fixing the drainage first is the difference between a repair and a subscription to repairs.
Can a repair actually blend with old concrete?
Fresh concrete never perfectly matches aged concrete, and anyone promising invisible is overselling. We get close with finish and joint placement, and we place repairs so honest lines look intentional.
