Allan’s bath, rebuilt floor to ceiling
Give us fifteen days and a worn hall bath comes back from bare studs bright and new, with new water and drain lines and full waterproofing behind every tile. Hand-set marble-look porcelain, a walk-in glass shower and a floating double vanity finish it.
Give us fifteen days. That is what this one took - old tile and tub out, down to the bare studs, and a tired hall bath rebuilt into the brightest room in the house.
We started by taking it all the way back: the cast-iron tub and every last tile out, down to studs and subfloor. With the floor open we ran all-new water and drain lines and reset the plumbing for a proper walk-in shower where the tub used to sit, licensed pros where required - the right time to do it once, correctly.
Then the part nobody posts. Every wall in the wet area got full waterproofing - the red you see mid-build is the membrane you will never see again, and it is the reason this shower will not give Allan a problem down the road. Over that we set marble-look porcelain by hand, floor to ceiling, with tight grout lines wrapped around a frameless sliding-glass enclosure.
The finish brought the light in: a floating double vanity with a quartz top, LED-framed mirrors, and matte black fixtures against all that white stone. Fifteen days, start to finish, done right.
