Cabinets hung level, plumb and solid.
Stock, semi-custom or custom boxes - installed level and plumb on walls that never are, with doors aligned and every fastener in a stud, not just drywall.
Cabinet installation is a precision trade: countertops, appliances and tile all assume the boxes beneath them are dead level. Getting there on real-world walls and floors is the craft - shims, scribes and a laser line that does not lie.
What is included
- Layout check against appliances and plumbing before anything is hung
- Laser-leveled base and upper runs, shimmed true on imperfect floors
- Uppers anchored into studs and cabinets joined tight
- Fillers, panels and scribe molding fitted clean
- Doors and drawers aligned with even reveals
- Hardware jig-drilled straight and consistent
How it works
- Verify the plan. We check layout, sizes and clearances against the real room before install day.
- Set the bases. Level is everything - countertops depend on it.
- Hang the uppers. Into studs, joined tight, aligned across the run.
- Trim and align. Fillers, panels, doors, hardware - the visible finish of the job.
What drives the price
- Cabinet count and configuration - islands and tall pantries take more fitting
- Wall and floor condition: out-of-level rooms take longer to true up
- Panels, fillers and trim details that finish the run
- Tear-out of existing cabinets and any wall repair behind them
Common questions
Do you install cabinets I bought myself?
Yes - big-box, online or custom orders. We will review the plan before install so missing fillers or wrong sizes get caught while returns are still easy.
Why does level matter so much?
Because everything above and beside the cabinets inherits their errors: countertops rock or gap, tile lines drift, appliances sit crooked. Ten extra minutes of shimming saves a thousand dollars of countertop headaches.
Can you modify cabinets on site?
Within reason, yes - cutting for plumbing and vents, building fillers, trimming panels. Structural changes to the boxes themselves are better solved at ordering time, which is why we like reviewing the plan early.
