Flooring & Tile

Floors that stay flat, quiet and tight.

LVP, tile or wood - the floor you see is only as good as the subfloor under it. We flatten, clean and prep first, so the finish floor lasts.

Most flooring callbacks trace back to skipped prep: high spots that click, low spots that flex, moisture that was never checked. Our installs start under the floor, not on top of it.

What is included

  • Furniture-safe tear-out and haul-away of the old floor
  • Subfloor inspection, flattening and repair before anything goes down
  • Moisture awareness on slab floors - a must on Houston concrete
  • Underlayment matched to the product, not a one-size roll
  • Clean transitions, undercut jambs and color-matched trim
  • Baseboard and quarter-round options finished to match

How it works

  1. Walk and measure. We measure the space, check the subfloor, and talk through product options honestly.
  2. Written scope. Materials, prep and transitions itemized, so you can compare bids apples to apples.
  3. Prep, then install. Flatten and clean first. Then set the floor with correct expansion gaps and layout.
  4. Walkthrough. Transitions, trim and every plank checked with you before we call it done.

What drives the price

  • Square footage and the product you choose
  • Subfloor condition - flattening and repairs are the honest line most bids hide
  • Tear-out of the existing floor, especially glued-down material
  • Stairs, tight rooms and diagonal layouts take more time than open space

Common questions

Why does subfloor prep matter so much?

Because floating and glued floors telegraph everything under them. A subfloor outside flatness tolerance causes clicking, flexing and seam failures that no warranty covers. Prep is the difference between a floor that lasts 3 years and one that lasts 20.

Which flooring handles Houston humidity best?

LVP and tile are the most forgiving in our climate. Solid hardwood moves with humidity swings and needs careful acclimation; engineered wood is a steadier choice if you want real wood. We will give you a straight comparison for your house.

Can you match new flooring to existing rooms?

Often yes, or we plan a clean transition where a perfect match is not possible. We would rather show you an honest transition detail than promise a match that will not look right.
